Financial Management: Northview’s Financial Management system is a proprietary, web-based system that improves efficiency, and delivers key financial information to property-based leaders so they can improve decision making and profitability. Our system integrates all available point of sale, procurement and property management databases, and eliminates the need to re-input data, improving accuracy and eliminating labor intensive, manual procedures.
Sales and Marketing: We align and deploy our Sales organizations in concert with the brand, market and hotel positioning. We eliminate redundant and overlapping market deployment and focus key sales associates on markets that produce results when group business is truly incremental. Our strong group sales approach is supported by a commitment to sales training, carefully crafted sales goals and lucrative sales incentive plans.
Revenue Management: We utilize our proprietary data warehouse and corresponding Revenue Management reporting tools to enable our revenue leaders to spend more time evaluating and acting on key revenue management data and market information, and less time compiling information.
Guest Service: Our focus on Guest Service starts with an operating platform that allows department leaders to spend less time on administrative tasks and more time on service delivery. This strategy leads to a reduction of guest problem experiences. We work closely with Northview’s Design and Construction group to ensure that our renovations and repositioning projects are aligned with customer expectations, while helping to create functional designs that make it easier for our associates to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Human Resources: We believe in the service-profit chain, whereby satisfied associates lead to satisfied guests which lead to improved top-line results and increased profitability. We are committed to responsible employment practices that mutually benefit both our partners and our associates. We structure positions whereby cross utilization and teamwork are core functions of the job, and we utilize Northview’s revenue management and scheduling tools to ensure that the right people are in the right place at the right time.
Branding Strategies: We evaluate and implement Branding Strategies to include evaluation and optimization of existing relationships and reviews of alternative brand opportunities—including all major brands, soft brands such as Preferred Hotels and independent options. We are effective brand partners with a strong focus on sales, revenue management and distribution deployment to complement the brand.
We work closely with Northview’s Design and Construction team to develop cost-effective capital improvement plans. These plans are complemented by our ongoing preventive maintenance and repair programs.
